I thought this neat-o gadget was made for the empty-eyed crap parade that is BBC 1’s: The One Show.
And as such I thought you had been sucked into cheering for said crap parade.

Love the AR pencil. I have thought for a long time that if we only knew keyboard and mouse, then the pencil would be a pretty damn cool invention. Over time, we could progress to pens and finally attain the lofty creative heights of magic markers, which Art Directors would use with the new-fangled ‘layout pads’ instead of their obsolete Mac Pros…
